Current scope
PortionMargin is being built as local-first bakery order-pricing
software. Currently, quote, ingredient, customer,
business-default, and settings data are treated as local app data,
not public website submission data.
The public website uses a no-backend email fallback for optional
support, feedback, and update-interest messages. The support and
feedback routes explain what is sent before the visitor opens an
email template and link back to this page.
PortionMargin does not currently provide accounts, cloud sync,
website analytics, website forms, advertising trackers, or a remote
app database.
App-local data
Quote details, ingredient costs, customer context, business
defaults, settings, saved history, formulas, internal pricing
review notes, invoices, and user-authored customer-facing text are
app-local data in the current product.
Public-site submissions
Optional support, feedback, and update-interest messages are sent
only when the visitor chooses an email fallback. The current
website does not use a form service, CRM, mailing-list provider,
backend, analytics service, or runtime AI classifier for those
messages.
Email handling
A support or feedback email may include the sender address,
subject, message text, and mail metadata supplied by the sender's
email provider. Visitors should include only the minimum detail
needed for the request.
Platform data
App Store pages, purchases, downloads, crash reporting, and other
platform-level activity are handled by the platform provider and
are separate from PortionMargin's local app data.
Local data management
Local data deletion, clearing, export, or management behavior must
match the implemented app controls. Because PortionMargin does not
currently provide accounts, cloud sync, or a remote app database,
this website does not offer remote account deletion or
server-side app-data controls.
Contact
For current app help, use support@portionmargin.com through the
Support route. For optional product feedback or update interest,
use the Feedback route and avoid sending sensitive customer,
quote, ingredient, invoice, or business data unless it is needed
for the request.
